Course Objectives

Learners will identify a path to self-agency through ownership of a business.
Learners will grow their future-ready skills by applying what they learn and practicing these skills.
Learners will go from idea to customer #1 within 6 months.

Future of Work

When you get into the working world there will be thousands of new jobs that you didn’t even know exist today.

You need skills so you can always adapt and be able to pursue career paths that align with your interests and goals. This requires competency in future-ready skills.

The earlier you start developing those skills, the better you’ll be able to use them for the career you want.

Why its Important

Gig Economy

Have you heard of Uber or Upwork? These are companies that have helped build the “gig economy”. That means they hire people who work a “gig” instead of becoming a full-time employee. You are basically, your own boss. That is much harder than it sounds!

Did you know that within the next 5 years, it is estimated that about 50% of working adults will be gig workers at some point? That means you have a 50% chance of having a gig at some point and we want to make sure you know how to succeed in that type of work.
